Resort 2027 marks a new era for Teurn Studios. Returning with refreshed business structures, Anna Teurnell's latest collection stays true to the label's refined DNA, elevating everyday dressing through precise tailoring, sculptural proportions and thoughtful accessories
Teurn Studios is back. Resort 2027 marks a fresh chapter for founder Anna Teurnell, following new investment and the appointment of a new CEO. Yet, as Teurnell told Vogue Runway, the ambition wasn't to reinvent the label, but to continue refining the understated design language that has long defined it. That philosophy is evident throughout the collection. Familiar wardrobe foundations are sharpened through subtle interventions: a softly sculptural poncho replaces a conventional knit, crisp poplin shirts gain elongated cuffs and precise collars, while tailoring is gently nipped at the waist without sacrificing its relaxed ease.
Outerwear remains a standout. A cavalry twill trench with leather sleeves and a matching aviator jacket offer a polished interpretation of utility, while a fringed black leather jacket proves that Western references can feel decidedly metropolitan rather than costume-like. Accessories continue to play an integral role in Teurnell's world, from the buttery leather attaché-style briefcase to fringed city bags, sculptural earrings and soft leather pumps inspired by vintage gym shoes.
Elsewhere, a restrained palette of black, ivory, tobacco and soft greys is punctuated by an unexpected flash of bubblegum pink cashmere and denim, injecting levity without disrupting the collection's composure. It's this measured approach elevating the everyday through proportion, construction and considered styling – that reminds us why Teurn Studios has earned such a devoted following, and why its return feels so welcome.
