Exclusively for Vogue Scandinavia's Society members, astrologer Clarisse Monahan of Venus in Retrograde charts each month's most powerful cosmic shifts, breaking down exactly how to understand, navigate and benefit from them
As advertised, Aries season has been aggressive, antic, and alarming – and we are not quite out of it yet. In fact, there’s a massive pile-up of planets in this warlike, Mars-ruled sign on April 17th, one that has astrologers majorly nervous. However, after a savage opening to 2026, the cosmos might be offering us an olive branch in Taurus season, whose generally low-key energy offers a welcome alternative to the feral histrionics of its neighbour, Aries.
But it's not just that Taurus, a Venus-ruled earth sign, is more stable than the fiery Ram. The transits during the next four weeks are set to be way more docile, too, especially as we push further into the season. That isn’t to say that there won’t be a few manic episodes during Taurus season (we are living in manic times, and the astrology for the year bears that out), but we can anticipate some sugar to sweeten the bitter, highly caffeinated coffee of Aries.
The most important transits over the next four weeks are highlighted below. Use them to better align with the planets and their stubborn insistence. Enjoy, and, as always, stay starry-eyed.
Fixed earth by nature, Taurus' pleasures centre around gardening, being near nature, eating rich foods, and indulgence
