Go behind the scenes at Swarovski's first Nordic store

By Eleanor Kittle

In May, global jewellery sensation Swarovski brought its signature sparkle to the Nordics, opening a brand-new store in Stockholm’s Westfield Mall of Scandinavia

The unmistakable luxe allure of Swarovski is hard to resist. Since 1895, the Austrian house has adorned necks, ears, wrists, and fingers around the world, enveloping wearers in its unmistakable shimmer. Now, that same sparkle has found a new home in Scandinavia.

Under the helm of legendary creative director (and former Vogue Scandinavia cover star) Giovanna Engelbert, Swarovski has opened its doors in a prime location within the mall. Infused with the brand’s signature savoir-faire and gleaming with light-filled luxury, the boutique is a study in contrasts: glass and metallic finishes meet soft chrome and silk textures, while walls are lined with signature blue Swarovski octagons, each one a portal into the brand’s bejewelled universe.

Once inside the store, customers are welcomed into the House’s WonderLux concept — a retail experience designed to elevate every interaction with personalised services and exclusive products. From seasonal jewellery and accessories to sparkling home décor, every piece is thoughtfully arranged atop octagon-shaped vitrines and sculptural tables.

Among the covetable collections currently in store is Engelbert’s Spring/Summer 2025 lineup, a vivid, playful tour of the colour wheel. This season introduces a fresh lilac hue to the iconic Millenia family, alongside the technicolour romance of Idyllia, the warm golden glow of Gema, and the candy-toned pop of Dulcis rings and cuffs. Digital screens throughout the space bring each collection to life, offering a seamless blend of inspiration and discovery.
