From followers to furniture, Sadia Aslam is a Norwegian influencer turned interior designer bringing Scandinavian design to the masses

For years, Sadia Aslam treated her tens of thousands of Instagram followers to daily doses of refined home inspiration via her beloved account, @interiormypassion. In 2023, she decided to take the leap and channel that passion into designs of her own, launching the Norwegian interior brand Stylescape (@stylescapeinterior).

“I loved sharing interiors on @interiormypassion – it connected me with a community that appreciated simplicity and elegance as much as I did, ” Sadia says. “But over time, I realised I wanted to go beyond just curating inspiration. I wanted to create something of my own – pieces that embodied my vision of timeless minimalist elegance.”

With a vision of crafting interiors that “feel calm, harmonious and enduring,” Stylescape’s offering boasts everything from sculptural tables and tactile rugs to plush blankets and eye-catching objects – all rendered in soft natural shades, their pared-back, organic forms echoing the brand’s design philosophy, which Sadia sums up as “timeless minimalist elegance”.

“To me, timeless minimalist elegance is about creating beauty in restraint. It’s clean lines, neutral colours, and functionality, elevated by craftsmanship and detail,” she explains. “Whether it’s a travertine table, a marble object, or a handwoven wool rug, each piece is designed to feel effortless, not overworked – elegant without being excessive.” Like many Nordic designers, nature is Sadia’s greatest muse, its textures, hues and materials guiding her creative process. “I’m also inspired by artisans and their traditions,” she adds, noting that Stylescape’s supple, handwoven wool rugs have been made by craftsmen “who have been perfecting their techniques for generations."

Whether born out of Sadia’s intricate sketches or sparked by a fleeting feeling, each piece is dreamt up with intent and precision. “I think about balance, proportion, and how the piece will live in a space,” she says.

There are perks to having run a successful interiors inspiration platform before founding her own label. “It taught me the power of authenticity and storytelling,” she says of her experience running her beloved Instagram account. “People don’t just want to see a finished design – they want to understand the inspiration, the process, and the people behind it.” Looking ahead, Sadia sees Stylescape “as a home for people who seek something truly unique”. “I want it to be known for interiors that feel personal, soulful, and enduring,” she says. “Designs that bring elegance into daily life while lasting for generations to come.”
