In the glow of springtime London, a constellation of tastemakers, stylists, editors and close friends – the extended Bille Brahe family, both literal and figurative – gathered to toast the launch of Fleur de Pellegrina, an exclusive new fine jewellery collection by Sophie Bille Brahe for Harrods. Held in an intimate setting imbued with warmth and whimsy, hosted by Pernille Tesiabek, the evening felt more like a family reunion than a traditional fashion affair — fitting for a collection that places sentiment at its core.
“Flowers are my ongoing love,” says Sophie Bille Brahe, surrounded by guests donning her signature wave-like pieces. “Ever since I was a child, they’ve had a special meaning to me. That's why the exclusive Fleur de Pellegrina collection for Harrods came so naturally; it just felt right. I am thrilled to collaborate with Harrods for this special collection.”
Drawing inspiration from Danish literary legend Karen Blixen’s Seven Gothic Tales, the collection is named after a character of the short story The Dreamers. The two Danish artists share in this passion for flowers: Bille Brahe has always loved the way Blixen worked around them, how personal she could make an arrangement. More than a simple bouquet sitting in a vase, flowers at the Blixen’s became a topic of conversation. More than a simple bouquet sitting in a vase, flowers at Blixen's home became a topic of conversation.
The collection's centrepiece, the Fleur Royale ring, dazzles with a one-carat diamond nestled in Bille Brahe’s signature undulating band: a quiet nod to enduring beauty. In a touching collaboration with friend and stylist Pernille Teisbaek, the Fleur de Pernille necklace symbolises maternal love in its most poetic form.
“Collaborating with Harrods on this felt like the perfect match,” Bille Brahe added. “It’s a place that understands craftsmanship, legacy and emotional resonance.”
Crafted in Italy with recycled gold and responsibly sourced diamonds, the collection is now available exclusively at Harrods and on sophiebillebrahe.com.
