Our first Scandinavian spotting of the night: Bill Skarsgård in Thom Browne tailoring, sharpened with a slick of leather that would make brother Alexander proud
For some time now, Alexander Skarsgård has held court as the red carpet’s resident leather provocateur… but tonight, his younger brother is swooping in to steal the title. Arriving at the 2026 Met Gala, Bill has taken on the theme of 'Costume Art' with a darker, disciplined edge via razor-sharp tailoring and a slick of high-shine leather.
While the custom look comes courtesy of Thom Browne, the coat is plucked from the designer's Resort 2026 collection: complete with a flash of signature red, white and blue stripes playing out across the lining as the actor reached to wave to frenzied fans.
