Vogue Scandinavia alum and contributing stylist Maria Barsoum – who also works as a creative consultant – now steps into the role of designer with a capsule collection of covetable silk scarves for Ennui Atelier

Handmade in Stockholm from carefully sourced deadstock silk, Ennui Atelier’s latest collaboration blurs the line between accessory and adornment. Designed by renowned stylist and creative consultant Maria Barsoum, the limited-edition capsule marks the brand’s first foray into textiles while remaining true to its jewellery DNA: modern, sculptural and meaningful.

For Barsoum, the capsule sees the scarf becomes a form of jewellery in itself. “This collaboration felt like a natural meeting of worlds,” she says. “A scarf has the power to elevate any look, transforming with the wearer, from effortless simplicity to refined expression.”

Each of the three styles captures the different characters and capacities of silk. A gauzy sheer head scarf is an ethereal nod to Barsoum's cinematic and historic references, while the triangle scarf is cut from untreated and raw silk and left with frayed trims for edge. Completing the trio is a body wrap made from liquid silk satin, perfect for draping and shaping silhouettes – a Barsoum styling signature.
