If there is one city on the fashion month circuit that knows how to put on a show, it is Milan. And this season, things began on an especially grand scale. Before the usual carousel of shows, presentations, and impossibly well-dressed dinners got properly underway, Vogue World descended upon the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, setting the tone for the week where spectable was hardly in short supply.
Amidst it all, the Scandinavians were difficult to miss. Some took to the runway, others commanded the front row, and one Danish jewellery giant found itself sparkling on some of the evening's most famous faces. There were familiar names, welcome returns and one particularly busy Danish model seemed to be everywhere at once.
