From the silver screen to the world of haute horlogerie, Robert Pattinson has been named Jaeger-LeCoultre's newest global ambassador. And with his signature sense of style, it's a pairing that makes perfect sense

Robert Pattinson has added another leading role to his repertoire, though this time, it has nothing to do with the silver screen. The British actor has been announced as the newest global ambassador for Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre.

From his breakout as the brooding Edward Cullen in Twilight to his gloriously unhinged turn in The Lighthouse, with everything from Good Time to The Batman in between, Pattinson has made a career out of keeping us guessing. Add to that his effortlessly offbeat red-carpet style, and it's easy to see why the actor makes an intriguing match for the historic watchmaking house.

And it seems his appreciation for a well-made timepiece runs deeper than appearances. "For me, the most compelling objects are the ones that have real depth to them," Pattinson says. "A great watch isn't just about precision – it's about character, craftsmanship, and the story behind how it's made."

It's a sentiment that aligns neatly with Jaeger-LeCoultre, a Maison known for balancing traditional craftsmanship with technical innovation. “Robert Pattinson represents a rare combination of artistic depth, curiosity, and authenticity,” says Jérôme Lambert, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. “His journey is defined by a relentless commitment to excellence and an independent spirit that aligns seamlessly with the values of our Maison.”

For Pattinson, whose personal style has always favoured individuality over convention, the partnership feels particularly fitting. And if his red-carpet appearances are anything to go by, we can expect him to bring a little of his signature unpredictability to the world of fine watchmaking.
