When fashion activist B. Åkerlund first brought her new puppy to Sweden from her second home in Los Angeles, she quickly realised that the offering of cashmere sweaters and puffed up puppy vests wouldn't make the cut. Bootzy, a Chinese Crested dog, needed more aesthetically and functionally than what the animal attire on the racks of major Maisons like Prada and Versace had to offer. "My solution was to create what I couldn't find," Bea Åkerlund explains.
