At last week’s Gothenburg Film Festival, Noomi Rapace presented her latest film, Mother, and received The Nordic Dragon Honorary Award. She also served some excellent looks. The Swedish actor opens up her camera roll to Vogue Scandinavia, sharing her Gothenburg Film Festival diary

Noomi Rapace is Mother. We mean that in the metaphorical sense, the literal sense (her son, Lev Rapace, is 23-years-old) and the theatrical sense; her upcoming film, Mother, finds the Swedish actress playing the titular Mother Teresa as she endeavours to establish her own religious order (the film takes place over just five critical days in Mother Teresa's life). Directed by Teona Strugar Mitevska, the film made its Scandinavian premiere at last week’s Gothenberg Film Festival, at which Rapace was presented with The Nordic Dragon Honorary Award.

But back to Rapace as mother – the yass-ified version. The festival found the actor showing up and showing out in several unmissable looks (she worked with stylist Jonathan Huguet for the ocassion). In between red carpet appearances and her award acceptance speech, she strolled the chilly streets of Gothenburg, had a laugh in her hotel and hung out with Lev, whom she thanked in a charming Instagram caption for “you and all you are”.

Below, Rapace opens up her camera roll to Vogue Scandinavia, sharing her personal snaps of the Gothenburg Film Festival.
