Jamilla Strand is no stranger to the whirlwind of fashion week festivities. This spring/summer 2026 season, the Swedish-Sudanese model, internet personality, and content creator authentically captures her 72 hours in the City of Light for Vogue Scandinavia, sharing an insight into her restless, red-soled world
From shoe-spangled events emulating the energy of American football games, to glamorous evening soirées, and a curation of looks in perfect synchronicity with her unique style sense, Jamilla Strand was exposed to all facets of Paris Fashion Week. Below, she takes us through her camera roll from her exhilarating few days spent on the front rows in the French capital.

Day 1: Celebrating 'Rouge Dior' in style

The Le Meurice hotel with Dior Beauty.

"Bonjour Vogue! I arrived in Paris and checked in at the gorgeous Le Meurice hotel with Dior Beauty. Not a bad way to kick off my time at fashion week! I was still not set on what to wear for that evening's celebration of 'Rouge Dior', but thankfully my good friends and stylists Muna and Aisha Khalaf came to my rescue and organised for a few looks to be sent over to me. The winner was this gorgeous set by the Paris-based brand, Ayo504."

Day 2: A flurry of fittings

Heavy metal moments at the Rabanne fitting.
"I checked into The Hoxton with Louboutin ahead of their show the following day. This one is always exciting! They always present their shoes in the most innovative ways. Then onto my Rabanne fitting! Rabanne was one of the first fashion houses I worked with so they’ll always be special to me."

Day 3: Kept on my toes with back-to-back shows

En route to the Mugler SS26 show.

"Mugler at 12! Rabanne at 2! Louboutin at 9! What a hectic day lay ahead. This season marked my second time attending Mugler. Miguel Castro Freitas was unveiling his first collection for the house which was super exciting. I had this look sent to my hotel the morning of the show. Luckily it fit like a glove! Speaking of gloves, I think gloves are such a fun accessory to work with and I love how these complemented my look so nicely."

"The Mugler show was beautiful to no surprise, however, I only had an hour to prepare for my next show, so changing in the car it was. The earring stack was my favourite part of my look... I love a good stack."

Day 3: More fashion show excitement

Louboutin's 'Loubi Show VI' held at an old Parisian stadium.
"Next on my schedule was Louboutin's 'Loubi Show VI'. Directed by David LaChapelle and choreographed by Blanca Li, it was a genius of a show and definitely one of my favourites so far. It was staged in an old stadium and was inspired by the spirit of an American homecoming game, so fun! Overall, an amazing and memorable experience, with performances from dancers posing as football players, cheerleaders and marching bands. The following day it was time to go back home to London, and now I’m on to my next adventure. Bisous, see you soon Vogue!"
