Vogue Scandinavia and Mockberg host an intimate evening at NK Stockholm

By Eleanor Kittle

In Mockberg's impeccably-appointed store space within NK Stockholm, co-founder Elvira Eriksson and Vogue Scandinavia editor-in-chief Martina Bonnier welcomed well-heeled guests for an evening devoted to the brand’s journey, philosophy and newest creations. Below, see some of the evening's highlights captured

Though NK Stockholm's doors were closed to the public, a glamorous fête was unfolding on the second floor. Just off the vast atrium and its festive Pippi Longstocking tree, a select crowd had gathered to celebrate Swedish jewellery brand Mockberg. The label, founded by siblings Elvira and Daniel Eriksson, partnered with Vogue Scandinavia to host an intimate evening, showcasing their elevated and elegant jewellery collection.

"It’s a bit crowded in here, but that only adds to the cosiness," remarked Vogue Scandinavia’s editor-in-chief Martina Bonnier, seated opposite co-founder Elvira Eriksson. Both women – dressed in Mockberg’s signature burgundy hue and adorned in the brand’s bijoux – guided guests through the twists and turns that have shaped the label’s rise. Among the attendees were Love is Blind: Sweden’s success story Niklas and Karin Agild, makeup entrepreneur Linda Hallberg, and members of Vogue Scandinavia’s ever-stylish Society community.

Set within Mockberg’s elegant NK storefront, the brand’s gold and silver pieces shimmered against the space’s textural minimalism. Alongside support from brand representatives and Vogue Scandinavia’s fashion team – on hand to help guests curate their perfect Mockberg look – Bonnier also styled two inspiring outfits: a refined daytime look and a polished evening ensemble.

For the evening look, Bonnier chose a sleek, understated watch paired with a delicate vintage-inspired gold chain. “Small, vintage-style watches are making a huge comeback,” she noted. “Probably because we don’t really need a watch anymore, we have our phones.” The true pièce de résistance, however, was a decadent 1920s-style cocktail ring that caught the light with every gesture. For daytime dressing, the emphasis shifted to the art of stacking. “Let the jewellery make the statement,” Bonnier advised, “and keep the rest simple.”

The evening concluded with a masterclass in colour analysis, as stylist and colour expert Mindi Lundqvist guided guests in determining whether silver or gold best flattered their complexion – all while they sipped festively spiced cocktails and sampled delicious canapés.
