For the couples who like to coordinate, or those who are simply looking for the ultimate gesture of love, Longines presents a considered edit of Valentine’s Day gifts
The tradition of February 14 is, of course, giving and receiving: a day of “I love you”s and “Will you be my Valentine?”s, often accompanied by Champagne, fine chocolates and, of course, gifts. But this year, Swiss watchmaker Longines proposes something designed to transcend moment itself: the gift of time.
As the day of Saint Valentine draws near, the brand turns to two of its most established collections – Conquest and PrimaLuna – each defined by precision, proportion and elegance.

For couples drawn to coordinating, the Conquest collection offers a series of stainless-steel timepieces, sized from a dainty 34mm up to 42mm, designed to be mixed and matched, worn together or independently.
One pairing introduces gold accents: the 34mm model features a yellow-gold bezel, a mother-of-pearl dial and diamond indexes, while the 42mm counterpart pairs a black ceramic bezel with a gilt dial. A second pairing takes a more graphic approach, with deep blue dials – softened in the smaller version by a rose gold-capped bezel, and rendered in clean stainless steel in the 41mm model.

In contrast, the PrimaLuna collection offers a softer proposition. The 30mm timepieces are defined by pastel dials in mint blue and lavender mauve, each set with 15 diamond indexes. Delicate yet enduring, they make for a gift that will keep on ticking long after Valentine’s Day has passed.
