The Longines HydroConquest, first launched in 2007, has been reenergised and surfaces anew in a campaign starring Henry Cavill – its purpose unchanged: to bridge the tide between adventure and elegance
For nearly two centuries, Longines has remained at the forefront of excellence in Swiss watchmaking, consistently delivering iconic timepieces. While some might argue perfection needs no adjustment, the house proves otherwise: in March 2026, it unveils an extensively redesigned HydroConquest collection, where contemporary aesthetics ripple through proven performance, proving that elegance and adventure move in the same current.
For this new take on a classic, Longines introduces the watch in both 39mm and 42mm stainless steel sizes. Dials, elegantly redesigned, now come in four variations: polished lacquered finishes in blue, black and green and a captivating frosted-blue sunray variant that allows light to play across its textured surface. Framing them are five ceramic bezels in classic black, blue and slate grey, joined by two striking new shades for the brand: verdant green and luminous blue.

In a first for this style within the collection, Longines introduces a stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet – marking a notable step forward in its design evolution. Tapered and finely engineered, the mesh offers enhanced comfort, breathability and precise micro-adjustment, lending the watch a more fluid, contemporary presence suited to the modern explorer.

That intent comes into focus in the brand’s latest campaign, set against the dramatic shores of Tenerife and starring actor and Longines Ambassador of Elegance Henry Cavill.
The images show the star at the intersection of these worlds, as he sits against a background of dark sandy beaches and crashing waves, embodying the very essence of the HydroConquest.
