Craftsmanship and Loewe, a strong bond that has lasted over time and that today finds space, in addition to fashion, also in design

Loewe’s project for Milan Design Week 2025 focuses on a collection of teapots created by 25 international artists, designers and architects. Showcased during the Furisalone at Palazzo Citterio, the exhibition forms part of the brand’s tradition of exploring design and craftsmanship in innovative ways.

Each teapot is a unique piece that reinterprets its sculptural form, with particular materials and treatments. Some designers, such as David Chipperfield, have played with colour and metallic details, while others, such as Rose Wylie, have taken inspiration from traditional British porcelain. Some works have remained faithful to ceramic, while others experiment with textures, perforations and new processes.

The exhibition was accompanied by the 'Teapots by Loewe' line, a selection of home objects, including Galician clay teapots, woven leather coasters, scented candles and leather teabag holders. In addition, Loewe presented a collaboration with Kaikado to create tin tea canisters decorated with brass and leather details.

Loewe teapots’ approach reflects its ongoing investment in craftsmanship and the fusion of design and art. Over the years, the brand has explored different themes, from woven chairs to basketry to artist lamps, making its presence at the Salone del Mobile a point of reference in the dialogue between luxury and artisanal tradition.
