He’s the global chart-topper who put tropical house on the map. She’s the Norwegian pop darling with a voice as bold as her rise. Together, Kygo and Victoria Nadine are not only making music – they’re making a home. As they unveil their first track and shared Oslo space, editor in chief Martina Bonnier reflects on how everything aligned for this intimate Vogue Scandinavia digital cover moment, in a way that felt too good to be true
From the moment that Kygo burst onto the global music scene, he has been a defining sound amongst the Nordic electronica. Much like his late contemporary Avicii, Kygo holds a place as one of our region’s most beloved musical exports. We were fortunate to feature him in one of our earliest issues – back when his home base was still Bergen and the world was just beginning to catch on.
So when his team called to tell us he was releasing a new album, this time in collaboration with his girlfriend, singer-songwriter and Norwegian Idol breakout star Victoria Nadine, we were immediately intrigued. We had already had our eye on Victoria; her raw talent and luminous presence made her someone we were eager to spotlight. The idea of capturing this union, in both artistic and romantic sense, for Vogue Scandinavia felt too good to be true.

The resulting digital cover story offers a journey straight to the heart of Kygo and Victoria. We visited the couple at their brand new home in Oslo, a light-filled space overlooking the city’s panoramic port and seascape – a fitting backdrop for a love story as expansive and sparkling as theirs. During the shoot, it was clear: this isn't just a creative collaboration. This is two people deeply, joyfully in love.
It’s rare to witness a pairing so authentic, both musically and emotionally. The energy between them is electric, and their new track ‘Can’t Get Enough’, promises to be the soundtrack of the summer.
