H&M Home enters Milan Design Week with a splash, announcing a collaboration with the celebrated, LA-based interior designer Kelly Wearstler. Below, everything to know about the team-up and the duo’s Milan Design Week installation, which offers a first taste of the upcoming collection
A buzzy double debut will unfold at 2026 Milan Design Week, as H&M Home makes its very first appearance at the landmark design showcase, and brings along a special collaborator: acclaimed American interior designer Kelly Wearstler. Also marking Wearstler’s debut at the event, the duo will offer a first glimpse of their just-announced collaboration through an immersive, conceptual installation set in the heart of Milan.
A collection “that represents many firsts for us,” as Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, H&M Home’s head of design & creative, puts it, the partnership with Wearstler also marks the brand’s inaugural foray into furniture within a designer collaboration. “Having a presence at Milan Design Week has long been a dream, and with Kelly, we knew the moment was right,” she continues. “H&M HOME has a global presence, but with this milestone, we want to make an impact on customers and the design industry alike in a new way.”

Visitors to the installation (which runs from April 21-26, and is open to the public) are in for a multisensory treat. Staged in the historic Palazzo Acerbi, a 17th-century Baroque palace that has long been closed to the public, a striking scenery backdrops the display. Towering columns and opulent frescoes cradle the exclusive preview of objects from the collection, which launches in September, along with a selection of bespoke pieces, all embracing a bold, contemporary aesthetic. As guests move through the installation, each well-curated room reveals a distinct mood, honing in on “the ritual of becoming, where furniture and space coalesce as instruments of self-evolution.”
Wearstler is equally thrilled about this milestone, noting that “H&M Home is the perfect partner” for her Milan Design Week debut. “Their global presence and genius for storytelling align perfectly with my vision,” she muses. “Bringing this collection to life in Milan and showing people how the pieces come alive in a real space – that’s what excites me.”

In addition to furniture such as sculptural, modular sofas and architectural wooden tables, the collection houses smaller objets d'art like glass vases and stone-clad serveware, where Wearstler’s expressive, layered style meets H&M Home’s sleek Scandinavian sensibilities. Much like H&M’s blockbuster fashion designer collaborations, this partnership with Wearstler makes her coveted work accessible to a wider audience, aligning with H&M Home’s ethos of democratising design.
The Kelly Wearstler x H&M Home collection will be available from 3 September 2026 in select stores and online at hm.com/home.
