Henrik Vibskov returns with a Spring/Summer 2022 presentation that fuses fashion and performance

Few designers benefit from the return to physical shows quite like Henrik Vibskov, who is known for his bombastic presentations that fuse fashion with performance art. Titled 'The Sun Will Shine on the Assembly Line', Vibskov’s SS22 collection drew inspiration from porcelain — the dichotomy of its strength and its fragility. Made from 90 per cent recycled materials, the garments mirror the ceramic material both in prints, cubic blocks and marbled moments, and by way of silhouette. Fluid lines mimic bowls and vases. A vibrant palette of clashing prints and dip dyes offer an unapologetically Vibscovian energy throughout.

The performance element found models as assembly line workers, finicking with porcelain shards under the eye of a watchful forewoman.
