For spring/summer ‘27, Ganni raids the family wardrobe, playing with proportions, punchy colour, and nostalgic layers in a collection that proves our earliest sartorial influences never quite leave us
We've all stolen clothes from people we love, and know all too well that there is a particular intimacy that comes along with it. An older sister's jumper mysteriously migrating into your wardrobe. Your mother's shoes, tried on years before they ever had hope of fitting. A hand-me-down that has been handed on no further because you simply refuse to part with it. For spring/summer '27, Ganni is raiding the family wardrobe, and fittingly, playing dress-up.
Titled Just Like You, Ditte Reffstrup's latest collection begins with the idea that personal style is rarely entirely personal. "I love that clothes can carry memories with them," Reffstrup says. "This collection feels very personal to me. There's a freedom and joy to it that reminds me why I fell in love with dressing up. It feels like coming home."

Before we know who we are, sartorially speaking, we borrow from the people around us, and clothes become an "unwritten diary" of people, places, and periods in our lives. And if childhood dressing is the starting point, Ganni has wisely resisted getting too nostalgic about it. This is a less sepia-tinted family album, more rummaging through said album while wearing three things you found in your sister's bedroom.
