The wife of Swedish hockey player Filip Forsberg, Erin Alvey won the 2026 Winter Olympics with her unmissable on-theme looks. The honorary Swede shares an exclusive diary of her first-ever Olympics in Milan
While Sweden’s men’s hockey team didn’t achieve the results they had hoped for at the 2026 Winter Olympics (they were defeated by the US in the quarterfinals), the team’s cheering section maintained high spirits. Just ask Erin Alvey, the wife of Nashville Predators forward Filp Forsberg, who was representing Sweden at the Olympics for the first time in his career. With son Felix in tow, Alvey turned out a slew of exceptional on-theme looks, including unmissable custom outerwear and jewellery baring her husband’s number.
Though the Georgia native’s home country ultimately took home the gold medal, there was no mistaking who Alvey – an honorary Swede – was rooting for. Below, the Vogue Scandinavia alum opens up her camera roll and shares her Milano Cortina 2026 diary.

“Two great views: The snowy mountains as we were arriving to the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games 2026 and the view of Olympic Village from our hotel room. Every morning and every evening Felix would wave to his dada or blow kisses out the window (No, Filip could not spot us 900 meters away haha).”
