From a Covid-quarantine third date to a proposal in a car park outside Åre, Emmy Björling and Jakob Eriksson married in Falsterbo with a weekend built on beech trees, sunflowers and bikes
Emmy Björling and Jakob Eriksson met in Åre during the winter of 2021, and from there, things progressed rather briskly. Their third date transformed from an hour-long meet-up into an eight-day stay, and the rest, as they say, was history: within four months, Eriksson had moved into Björling's Stockholm apartment.
A little ways down the road, the couple got engaged, back where they first crossed paths. "Jakob proposed after a concert in the forest outside Åre," Björling explained, adding that it was at 03:30 in the morning, surrounded by close friends under the night sky, in a parking area. "What might have seemed like an unexpected setting felt incredibly personal and authentic to us," she said.
Below, unveil the details of the couple's Skåne wedding.
