There may not have been any Scandinavians in this year’s Angel line-up, but Copenhagen export Emilia Silberg captured the spirit of the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – all confidence, ease, and self-assured beauty. Below, we follow again with Silberg as she gets ready to attend the runway spectacle in New York
There's been plenty of online chatter since this week's Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but Danish model Emilia Silberg – who witnessed the spectacle first-hand in New York, has a decisive verdict, describing the atmosphere as "bold, angelic, energetic, sexy, fierce, and powerful." From the moment Silberg stepped inside, she could “feel this strong energy running through the whole room,” leaving her inspired by the runway's return to form.
“The looks were incredible,” Silberg reflects. “It’s hard to choose because there were so many good ones, but my favourite was Bella Hadid with the beautiful white wings – she just looked incredible. I also loved Candice; her walk was the most powerful. And Jasmine looked amazing too – I love that she was pregnant, it made her presence even more powerful.”
Before the show, Silberg kept things slow and simple. “I took the morning slow – coffee, a walk, and some time to reset before getting ready,” she says. Afterwards, she retreated from the chaos for a quiet night in: “I took a ride back home, had a long hot shower and ordered room service.”
Having lived herself as a New Yorker in the past, the city is something of a second home for the model, who relishes her rituals the moment she lands. “The first thing I do is walk around the neighbourhood. I just love this city so much– every time I’m here, I feel so happy,” she says. “I usually go to SoHo and look around stores, then stop by a CVS because they have everything you can think of. I always grab a kombucha and my favourite snack – pickles. And the first restaurant I go to is always Lucien.”
There may not have been any Scandinavians in the 2025 Angel cohort, butt this Copenhagen export captures exactly what this year’s show was about: confidence, ease, and feeling beauty in your own skin. Scroll on to see Silberg's document all the moments before and after the electric show.
9:00am: Morning coffee and a walk

Coffee first. I grab one near the hotel and walk around to get some fresh air, sun, and a few steps in before the day starts. There’s nothing like New York energy.
10:30am: Agency stop

A quick visit by an agency to look through bags and shoes and finalise tonight’s look. Everything’s coming together.
12:00pm: Skincare and downtime

Back at the hotel. Face mask on, texting friends, and a bit of quiet before it all begins.
2:00pm: Hair and makeup

The team arrives. We put on some music and film a bit of BTS while getting ready. We went for a darker burgundy eye with neutral lips and clean, glowy skin.
5:00pm: Shooting and behind the scenes

Photographers stop by to capture a few moments before heading out. The excitement starts to build.
5:30pm: On the way

Car’s waiting downstairs. One last look in the mirror, perfume on, and we’re off.
7:00pm: The carpet and the show

Arrived with friends. Flashlights, chaos, and excitement – all at once.
11:00pm: Back in the room

Dress off, room service on the way. Feeling grateful – attending this show has been a childhood dream. The perfect ending to a surreal day
