Congratulations are in order for two-time Vogue Scandinavia cover star and supermodel Elsa Hosk, as she announces her engagement to her longtime partner, Tom Daly
I said yessss.” With those three words shared on Instagram, Swedish model and former Vogue Scandinavia cover star Else Hosk announced her engagement to her long-time partner, Tom Daly.
The moment itself was nothing short of cinematic. In a room overflowing with Swedish wildflowers, Daly dropped to one knee, presenting Hosk with a Tiffany & Co. Soleste engagement ring - a 10 carat diamond oval halo ring with a diamond platinum band - and asked the all-important question. The answer was, of course, a joyful and unhesitating yes. The newly engaged couple then headed to what Hosk thought was an intimate dinner, but it turned out to be a surprise engagement party, filled with their closest friends and family.

The couple’s love story stretched back over a decade. Though they first crossed paths in 2011, it wasn’t until 2015 that their friendship evolved into something more. The details of their very first meeting remain a matter of playful dispute. Speaking to Vogue Scandinavia in her debut cover story, Hosk recalled it as an instant connection.“I was just invited randomly to this party and I was seated next to him,” the veteran Victoria's Secret star said. “I was kind of in a relationship at the time, and he was in a relationship at the time, but I do remember it was love at first sight.”
Daly, however, remembers things a little differently. “She tells this amazing story that she always knew we were going to be together,” he admitted. “But I don’t know if we can quite believe her on that.” According to him, he was single at the time, even cheekily asking Hosk to introduce him to some of her female friends.

Regardless of whose version of events you choose to believe, the ending could not be more perfect. Today, the pair not only share a daughter but also a promise of forever. With a ring on her finger and a wedding on the horizon, one can only imagine the celebration to come – and if Hosk’s impeccable sense of style is any indication, it will be nothing short of spectacular.
