Whilst glorious ensembles are sashaying down the couture runway, we should never forget the ongoing catwalk that occurs on the streets as show-goers take the chance to showcase their impeccable outfits
It must be all the couture in the air – like the blinged-out Schiaparelli brooches also being used as hair charms, or the Christian Dior New Looks – that have our street stylers smiling even brighter than usual this season. Or it just might be the anticipation ahead of Alessandro Michele’s first-ever couture show for Valentino or Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s big unveiling for Jean Paul Gaultier.
