At Apollo Bar, Vogue Scandinavia and Copenhagen Studios hosted their very own breakfast morning show to fete the launch of the brand’s covetable snake print sneaker. Guests like Idunn and Sofie Vollan, Alicia Agneson and Herman Tømmeraas sat down with features editor Allyson Shiffman to discuss personal style, snakes and the sneakers themselves
Yesterday morning, a gaggle of cool girls and influencers, industry insiders and editors gathered at Apollo Bar (chef Frederik Bille Brahe’s beloved restaurant, which over the years has become an unofficial fashion week hub) to take in an anticipated one-time only occurrence: a live taping of Vogue Scandinavia’s own morning show, presented with Copenhagen Studios. Guests like Sofie and Idunn Vollan, Alicia Agneson and Lola Corfixen sat down with Features Editor Allyson Shiffman (that’s me) to discuss personal style, Danish breakfast foods and, most importantly, Copenhagen Studios’ latest sneaker, which launched at the event. A clean silhouette rendered in eye-catching snake leather, the sneaker is destined to assert itself as a street style star as CPHFW unfolds.
As the recording took place, guests mingled over breakfast at two long tables, nibbling on fresh tomatoes and strawberries, pears and burrata. Also on view at the breakfast, the brand’s latest garments: sumptuous leather jackets and effortless outerwear – the perfect pieces to pair with the standout sneakers.

“CPHFW is all about contrasts! Effortlessness meets bold statements, minimalism meets individuality. That’s exactly what these snake print sneakers embody,” says Copenhagen Studios’ Hannah Priester, noting that the clean lines and no-nonsense silhouette coupled with the confident print embodies everything Copenhagen Studios stands for. “The city moves with a quiet confidence, and this sneaker walks right alongside it: bold, but never loud. This week is the heartbeat of Scandinavian fashion, and it felt like the perfect moment to introduce something that challenges the norm, yet still feels inherently true to the brand.”

Though Copenhagen Studios is headquartered in Germany, its design ethos has always been inherently Danish. There’s a certain considered minimalism to the silhouettes – both within the footwear, and in the carefully curated garment offering (those sumptuous leather jackets, especially), coupled with an ease that’s oh so Scandinavian. “The city of Copenhagen has always been our creative north star. There’s something about the way the city blends function with aesthetics, effortlessness, and attention to detail. That speaks directly to our design language. It’s more than just a namesake; it’s a mindset,” says Hannah.
To that end, it only made sense to host this intimate event in midst of the city’s most fashion-forward week, populated by some of the city’s biggest industry names, many of which wore the snake print sneakers for the occasion. Seeing the ways in which guests interpreted the standout footwear – some juxtaposing the sneakers with feminine dresses or flouncy skirts, others going full streetwear in track pants or relaxed jeans – epitomised what makes Copenhagen’s aesthetic so revered (Hannah, fittingly, notes that the ultimate Copenhagen Studios girl is “effortlessly cool, but never trying too hard”).

“The way Copenhageners dress, move, and live reflects a lifestyle we deeply admire: confident, minimal, grounded,” concludes Hannah. “Hosting an event here during CPHFW feels like a natural alignment, it’s a way of honouring the city that continues to inspire how we think about style and materials.” And as the broadcast drew to a close, the girls headed out to take in the day’s shows, all wearing their snake print sneakers, ready for their singular looks to meet the lenses of the street style photographers.
