Caroline Bille Brahe’s Caro Editions served up an exuberant exit to Copenhagen Fashion Week, closing the spring/summer ‘27 edition with 'Caro Club', a fictional spot that could well be haunted by Bille Brahe’s muse for the season: the magnetic woman and the magical moment when she leaves the club, fabulous clothes, camera flashes, the first light of dawn and all.
Down the runway strutted looks that echoed the party-ready mood: crystal-studded skirts paired with sheer lace shirts, while boxy leopard-print jackets arrived with bubblegum pink capris. A riot of patterns and prints – think floral, polka-dot, striped, and more – dominated the maximalist lineup, which culminated in a Caro Editions bride.

And what is a nightlife-inspired runway show without an after-dark beauty look to match? This season, Caro Editions partnered with LA-based brand Submission Beauty, whose plastic-free glitter was particularly apt for the spectacle. Glimmering dustings of silver, gold, iridescent blue and pink were brushed across the models’ lids, slightly smudged as they would be after a night of hitting the dance floor.
“The show begins as the women step outside the club, so I wanted the makeup to show everything that had already happened inside,” explains Zenia Jaeger, the show’s key makeup artist and founder of Submission Beauty. “They might have arrived with a full glitter eye, but after hours of dancing, sweating and touching their faces, most of it has worn away. What is left is smeared around the eyes, with traces of glitter collecting underneath them.”
