For autumn/winter 2026, Carin Rodebjer returns to the helm of her beloved namesake brand, reestablishing – and redefining – the codes that made it one of Sweden's most beloved exports
It’s been two years since Carin Rodebjer took a step back from her namesake brand. In the intervening seasons, Rodebjer has stayed (more or less) true to the codes instilled by its founder since its launch in New York in 2000. There have been boho-leaning expressions and abstract florals, checks of all sizes and colours and smart, feminine tailoring. But there has been a certain something – a je ne sais quoi – missing. Well, that certain something is back. Autumn/winter 2026 marks Rodebjer’s first collection with Carin back at the helm as creative director. What’s more, she’s brought back her “dream team” of collaborators – from manufacturers to marketing girls – who initially helped build Rodebjer into one of Sweden's most beloved exports.
“It feels lovely to be back,” says Rodebjer when I meet her in a tucked away showroom in Stockholm’s Gamla Stan for a collection run-through over coffee and cannolis. “I needed to step back to cleanse the palette and see what I love about the industry and what I love about fashion. I feel I have so much more to give.”
