Sweden’s Arlanda International Airport is heading toward peak traffic around the Summer Solstice on June 21st – the same date Cancer season begins. By then, we can expect two to three months of long, hectic lines at security, anxious moms, whining children, inevitable delays, and, of course, nowhere to sit and eat our "fresh" green salads with their sad cherry tomatoes and dispiriting arugula.

But what about this Cancer season’s astrological arrivals and departures board at Starlanda, our zodiac airport? Traffic is pretty heavy this month, as well, including a massive transit on June 29th. Let's get into the flight patterns.

On June 21st, the Summer Solstice (the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere) coincides with the start of Cancer season. The Sun enters the zodiac's most sensitive, maternal, and private sign at the exact moment it reaches its greatest strength in the sky. Celebrate the Solstice with friends and a few pagan rituals (flower picking, Små grodorna, morning dew baths). But also prepare yourself for Cancer season, the ideal time of year for family togetherness.
