Champagne, candlelight and sculptural denim set the scene at an intimate dinner to welcome Camilla Pihl to Sweden
On a freezing, snow-swept evening in Stockholm last week, Camilla Pihl gathered a well-heeled crowd inside The Building, the former gallery space in the heart of the city, for an intimate dinner celebrating her latest chapter. Guests arrived to champagne before stepping into a candlelit room where campaign images were suspended between towering columns, framing linen-dressed tables.
The tables were set in pieces from Atelier Camilla Pihl – tactile linens that echoed the collection’s understated confidence. Around them, editors, creatives and friends from Sweden and Norway – many clad in Pihl’s SS26 structured and slouchy denim silhouettes – settled in for a flowing, wine-paired menu of beef tartare, delicate fish, airy mousse and espresso martinis.
As a live pianist and singer filled the space, the evening unfolded as both celebration and statement: a personal extension of Pihl’s universe, where, as she notes, 'the details matter'.
