The limited-run cup jersey revives the original 1891 crest in dark blue and gold, with every krona funding children’s access to sport in summer 2026

'Överallt' means everywhere – and everywhere is exactly where AIK exists.

Founded in 1891 at Biblioteksgatan 8 in central Stockholm, Allmänna Idrottsklubben (meaning The General Sports Club) – began as a gathering of ambitious young athletes. More than a century later, its football arm, AIK Fotboll, has become one of Sweden’s most storied clubs, a black-and-yellow institution whose presence stretches far beyond the stadium walls.

Today, AIK lives in London flats and Manhattan offices, in WhatsApp groups and airport terminals, in the rituals of match days abroad. It lives in the Swede who moved for work but still plans his weekends around kick-off. In the second-generation supporter who discovered the club through YouTube highlights and group chats. In the friend who packs a black-and-yellow scarf with their passport. AIK may play its home matches in Solna, but its support system stretches across the world.

For this year’s cup season, that idea takes physical form. AIK will step onto the pitch in the 'Överallt Edition': a limited-edition cup jersey that embodies how the football club lives within the people who follow it all, across many time zones. The club is carried, quite literally, on people’s backs, and now that symbolism runs both ways.

On the chest sits AIK's original crest, drawn shortly after the club's founding and used between 1891 and 1898. The crest is rendered in what are believed to be the original colours – dark blue and gold – based on one lasting example from the 1800s.

The shirt itself is deep navy, embossed with a subtle pattern inspired by the façade of the National Arena in a nod to Solna. A lace-up collar references both the 1999 Champions League campaign and the club’s early 20th-century silhouettes. Even the details of the jersey are considered: 'Allmänna Idrottsklubben' is stamped into the eyelets, while 'A.I.K.' is engraved into the metal lace tips. Meanwhile, inside the collar, you find a historic illustration from the club’s early annual reports: a lion holding that original crest against a rising sun, a reference to Biblioteksgatan where it all began.

Only 270 jerseys will be distributed via draw to members who are also season ticket holders, priced at SEK 1,299. A further 135 will be sold through Pro Direct, including in Manchester and partly online – making the jersey accessible to AIK supporters around the world.

The jersey celebrates both past and present, but all proceeds will help safeguard the future. AIK believes that children and young people who grow up with sport and physical activity develop into stronger individuals. Therefore, it is only natural for the club to donate all proceeds from the sale of the cup jersey to support children’s and youth sports participation. All proceeds will go directly to Stadium Sports Camp, a non-profit organisation dedicated to getting children active and providing them with opportunities to engage in sport. The contribution will enable children without financial means to attend sports camps during the summer of 2026.

AIK is everywhere for everyone. And now, everyone has a uniform.
