The Parisian runway is set to merge traditional handcrafts with hyper-futuristic designs - and you can livestream it all here
Experimentation has always been at the heart of Acne Studios - making it one of the most exciting labels to watch each season. And for spring/summer 2022 creative director Jonnh Johansson continues this thread by exploring the juxtaposition of strong contrasts.
To be more specific his designs will see chiffon matched with leather, plaid contrasted with lingerie, crochet and knits toughened up, while handcrafted corsets will find an edgy new reinterpretation.
“We live in the age of self-identity, of instinct and experimentation. The look is provocative and hard, yet is grounded in handcrafts that are then subverted,” Johansson explains.
