As Norway becomes the last Nordic country standing in the FIFA World Cup, Erling Haaland's partner, Isabel Haugseng Johansen, takes Vogue Scandinavia along for the day as she prepares for the match and captures the hightlights from the sidelines

We are officially in the knockout stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where every match is now win or go home. Across the globe, fans are collectively biting their nails as national teams battle for a place in the next round.

Earlier this week, it was Norway's turn to hold its collective breath as the national team faced Côte d'Ivoire in Dallas. While nerves were running high, one player appeared remarkably composed: Erling Haaland. Perhaps it was confidence in his own abilities, or perhaps it was because someone especially important was cheering him on from the stands – his partner and the mother of his child, Isabel Haugseng Johansen.

Ahead of the match – which saw Haaland score the winning goal in the 86th minute – Johansen invited Vogue Scandinavia to join her as she prepared to support both her country and her partner from the sidelines.

Getting ready for a big day, and of course skincare and hair is a priority!

Matchdays call for a slow breakfast and plenty of fuel before the excitement begins.

Ready for the game! A 'when in Dallas' sort of vibe. And of course, had to get some nice pics with this outfit.

The closer we got to the stadium, the more the excitement – and the nerves – started to build. As always the fans were in amazing voice!

The atmosphere was incredible. By kick-off, the nerves had definitely arrived. Heia Norge!

An absolute must when in the USA.

One the Viking Row started, there was no way I was staying in my seat. From Oslo to Times Square, the row has been a special part of this tournament. I get goosebumps every single time we do this.

The cowboy boots were so cute I had to get some for my little boy.

One last flight, straight to bed and then it's time to do it all again. That's the rhythm of a World Cup, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
