A fellow commoner-come-princess to the style icon Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Marie of Denmark is a valuable ambassador for the country. On April 3, Her Royal Highness embarked on a humanitarian trip to Cambodia, set to end today.

As honorary president of DanChurchAid, the Danish church's humanitarian foundation, Princess Marie's visit focused on areas that she and the foundation have tackled for years: human rights, poverty, and sustainable development. Celebrating 100 years of DanChurchAid, the trip also marks the Princess' 10th anniversary as Patron, where Cambodia holds a special place for HRH as the first destination she travelled to after obtaining her new role with the organisation.
