While many stars (and drivers) turned up in strong looks for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami over the weekend, the clear winner was Blackpink’s Lisa. Wearing a form-hugging leather jacket and matching leather mini skirt by Acne Studios, Lisa looked both effortlessly cool and on-theme. The clincher? That her neon green VIP badge subtly complemented the greenish undertones of the marbled set.
Lisa’s look is plucked straight from Acne Studios’ spring/summer '24 runway – a denim and leather-heavy collection that draws inspiration from a “fast woman”. It’s a fitting choice for a sporting event that’s all about going fast. Here, Lisa nails not one but two spring trends: a micro mini skirt and a matching set. She finished the look with a fresh face and two high buns.

Formula 1 is just the latest sport to level up on the fashion front. Led by fashionista Lewis Hamilton, the paddock is quickly becoming a bona fide catwalk, not unlike the NBA’s famed “tunnel walk”. Add to that the rise of themed-dressing (see: Zendaya’s tennis-heavy Challengers press tour) and you have yourself ample opportunities for fashionable boiler suits and moto jackets, worn by drivers and fans alike.
